2022 IsDB Group Annual Meeting took place at Sharm El Sheikh International Convention Center, Egypt from 3rd to 4th of June 2022. The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) extends financing to its 57 Member Countries (MCs) for various developmental projects and programs which involves the procurement of goods, works, consultants and other related services. The Boards of Governors and the General Assemblies of the IsDB Group members hold the Annual Meetings to discuss development issues and institutional matters.
This event, offered an ideal platform for decision-makers to discuss challenges and explore opportunities in member countries. Around 2,000 participants including representatives from regional and international financial and development institutions, business leaders and the wider community participated in this event. In conjunction with the annual meetings, the Private Sector Forum was held as a platform for networking and establishing business relationships and partnerships.
Monenco Iran also participated in this event and had a fruitful discussions and face to face meetings with high authorities including Iran Minister of Finance, IsDB CEO and vice presidents, world bank representative and IsDB regional managers for further collaboration.
