On June 25th, the "Electrical Calculations of Power Distribution Networks" was held by Monenco Iran for the experts of West Azerbaijan Province Distribution Company. The course was related to the project "Designing Capital & Asset Ownership Projects and Power Supply within the City of Urmia" which the client is "West Azerbaijan Province Distribution Company". The following topics were included in this course:
- the main concepts in designing the power distribution networks
- Reviewing technical specifications of distribution over head transmission lines
- Electrical calculations of over hear low and medium voltage transmission lines
- Design of a medium voltage over head network according to Tavanir standard
- Checking the technical specifications of the cables
- Electrical calculations of medium voltage underground cables
- Electrical calculations of over ground cables
- Designing a sample cable network according to Tavanir standard
- Introduction to ETAP software for the above mentioned designs
